Nash Bridges is an American television police drama that was created by Carlton Cuse. The show starred Don Johnson and Cheech Marin as two detectives with the San Francisco Police Department. The show ran for six seasons on CBS from March 29, 1996 to May 4, 2001 with a total of 122 episodes being produced. In addition, the series also introduced veteran actors and newcomers during their breaks, throughout the show's run.

Nash debuted in early 1996, starring Don Johnson as Nash Bridges, captain of the SFPD's Special Investigations Unit. He is a man in midlife getting over two failed marriages and the growing up of his daughter, Cassidy (Jodi Lyn O'Keefe). After being retired in the police force, Joe Dominguez (Cheech Marin), Nash's partner and best friend, joined forces with him, and later becomes involved in a get-rich-quick scheme. They cruise the streets in Nash's electric yellow 1971 Plymouth Barracuda convertible, a gift from Nash's brother Bobby before Bobby left for the Vietnam War. Bobby was assumed MIA for over 24 years after his helicopter was shot down he was piloting. In season 3, Bobby comes into town as "Bobby Chase", and gets caught up in one of Nash's cases. At the end of it all, Bobby meets with Nash in an alley, and he reveals he got caught up in drug smuggling and contract killings after he escaped capture and made it to East Asia. Also living with Nash is his dad Nick (James Gammon), a crotchety retiree suffering from a mild form of dementia who has a tendency to get kicked out of nursing homes.

The show was produced and filmed on location in the San Francisco Bay Area. The show shot on the street of San Francisco including The Embarcadero and Piers 30 through 32. Neighboring Treasure Island was used at the headquarters for the show. The show employed several hundred local workers including production crews and staff members, carpenters, electricians, set designers, and other stagehands. Episode production was nearly $2 million per episode. The show premiered on March 29, 1996 at 10:00pm on CBS.

"E-sourcing allows you to be a lot more set of buildings and advanced in terms of how you build your ITT - so you can have multiple lots, you can have sub-lots, you can weight those in very byzantine ways, you can weight your questions in subtle complex ways; and so you can be a lot more superior than you can be with a paper process. But in implementing that refinement, it becomes more not easy to do the investigation at the end of it, so you need a more high-level tool to help you analyse the bids development in. "Recently we ran an event for estates management, and that had numerous vendors, a number of lots and junior-lots - and it was estates management throughout the whole country, so there were hundreds of postcodes to be covered also - and. in doing that, the actual process of evaluating those bids would have been quite thorny: using lots of Excel spreadsheets, and doing some of it manually, and the group supervisor scratching his lead quite a lot. What we did was to press it out to a specialist effort-optimisation tool and used a vendor called Iasta to help us with that: at this time SAP don't have that even of refinement with their E-sourcing tool. NASH BRIDGES

So that was a ravine that we identified, and I presume you would call that a teething problem - and it's an ongoing publication that we have when we seep any really vast events. "Other teething problems came when we were running elevated-measurements happenings in terms of vendors, and perhaps in categories where vendors hadn't been exposed to technology that much before - and I'm thinking of an event that we ran in the e-transference area. We ran a PQQ and it was quite gray on funds, so vendors were ringing us quite recurrently all over that whole PQQ phase asking questions. about how to do certain things within the system. What we learned from that is that if you've got a really immense result like that, quite a distinguished-profile episode, you perhaps need to do something a little bit more in terms of hold.

So what we did when it came through to the ITT present was, we hosted an afternoon and an evening at a hotel in Heathrow where we invited in the section of 70 vendors and gave them a full demo tape of the system and a chance to do some Q&A with us, and we got the business stakeholders to natter also, and we found that that reduced the number of queries much. "So I would counsel people to have a really good, robust process in consign in stipulations of sustain going accelerate for vendors. What we tend to do is go, say, a league call, which is quite sunlit-stroke; but sometimes you need more than that, and it really depends on the prime of life of the category in terms of technology. There are some industries that will probably not have been exposed. to something like e-procurement, e-import, e-sourcing; most of the processes that they track are probably piece-based and I think transport was a acutely good example of that. We destroy foul of that at first - but I think we healthier, and we ran utterly a successful affair. "Despite these challenges, conversely, North and Giles are delighted with the total benefits that the programme has achieved - and have made reliable that these benefits have been communicated fruitfully the whole time the organisation. North concludes with pleasure: "In terms of communication, we did a lot of stakeholder laboratory analysis and identified all our key stakeholders - and also what type of stakeholder they were, so whether they were responsible or held responsible, whether we needed to consult with them or notify them, all that kind of cram. We targeted interactions to key stakeholder groups, so all and sundry didn't receive the same transfer; people standard the letter that was relevant to them. d we also had an e-sourcing intranet piece of paper, so we had all our most recent rumor and articles on there - which we calm down do now, and in detail we've just upgraded that.

We also made clear in your mind that any pleasant intelligence stories were in print the minute through our weekly newsletter.
